About the Trainer

Devin's mission is to help you and your dog build a strong, lasting bond based on trust and clear communication. With over 15 years of professional experience and a B.S. in Animal Science from UC Davis, she brings a deep understanding of canine behavior to every session. Her CPDT-KA certification ensures that you’re getting the best in positive reinforcement and non-aversive training methods, tailored to address everything from basic manners to more complex issues like reactivity and anxiety.Devin’s passion for dogs began at a young age. Growing up in an animal-loving home, she was always surrounded by dogs and developed a deep interest in understanding their behavior and how to communicate with them. Over the years, she found various ways to work with dogs, from caring for others' pets to gaining hands-on experience in training and handling. Adopting her first high-energy rescue dog was a pivotal moment that revealed her true calling as a dog trainer, and today, her three dogs continue to inspire her daily.She understands that every dog and owner pair is unique, and she's dedicated to creating customized training plans that meet your specific needs. Devin is a passionate advocate for dogs, committed to helping owners create the best possible home environment so both dog and owner can live their best lives. Her ultimate goal is to reduce the number of dogs surrendered to shelters by empowering owners with the skills to keep their pets happy and well-behaved. Start with a 30 minute initial consultation where we will discuss your goals and develop a customized training strategy tailored to your needs. (This service is available only for dogs I have trained before, ensuring they are comfortable with me and receive the best possible care.)
